It was a cold spring day, approaching early evening when our heroes first met. On the road out of Delberz, Gnoblar and Werner found Wandy walking the road and Gnoblar, being the friendly type he is, engaged him in conversation and before long Wandy was keen to join the crown princes expedition to the Grey Mountains, to which Gnoblar and Werner were heading, seeking fame and fortune.
Johann walked slowly behind the three as the travelled the road, wanting to keep himself to himself, but before long, Gnoblar and the others had engaged him in conversation and before he knew it, and with the promise of good coin for the trip, he had agreed to join the party too.
The four walked towards the Coach and Horses as the sun hung low in the sky, their minds full of potential and excited by their new prospects.
